The EPIC™ does not have a bolt in the conventional sense. The action of the EPIC™ utilizes a thin (.03 inch) dividing plate, TRAP DOOR™, to separate the paintballs as they load into the breach. In essence, the EPIC™ marker is a blowgun. No mechanical action is applied to the paintball until it is fired, and at that time, only air acts on the paintball to propel it. This feature greatly reduces, if not eliminates, ball breakage in the marker itself. The simplicity of the design guarantees a reliable and durable marker that requires virtually no maintenance. |
